[TODO: EN] ID card or passport + license (originals, no photos), a credit card for the deposit and your booking number. Without originals no handover – not red tape, but a condition of our insurer.
[TODO: EN] Pickup and return time
[TODO: EN] We're there at the agreed time – please be too. A late return counts as a late day: day 1 = 60 €, then +10 % cumulatively per day (day 2 = 66 €, day 3 = 72.60 €, day 4 = 79.86 €…). If things get tight, a quick call is enough.
[TODO: EN] Fuel and cleanliness
[TODO: EN] Picked up full, returned full. Otherwise 25 € refuelling fee plus missing fuel at pump price. Interior should be reasonably clean – take bottles and rubbish with you. For heavier soiling (mud, pet hair, sticky liquids) the cleaning is invoiced.
[TODO: EN] Damage, breakdown, accident
[TODO: EN] Something happened? Call us immediately, no DIY fixes. In case of an accident always call the police – without a police report insurance pays nothing. Even for small dents: better report once too many than once too few.
[TODO: EN] Deposit
[TODO: EN] At handover we place a hold on your card for the deposit – the amount is reserved, not charged. After compliant return we release the hold, usually the same day; depending on your bank it may take a few business days to show up.
[TODO: EN] Cancellation – short
[TODO: EN] Free up to 4 days before. Afterwards: 3 days 10 %, 2 days 20 %, 1 day 60 %. No-show: 100 %. Details in Terms §7.
[TODO: EN] What's not allowed
[TODO: EN] Smoking in the vehicle (cleaning fee 150 €), transporting animals without arrangement, travelling outside EU/EFTA without written approval and sub-letting to other people. Only the person named on the booking may drive.
[TODO: EN] Abroad
[TODO: EN] Within EU/EFTA no problem, a brief heads-up to us is enough. Non-EU Balkans, Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Moldova) and North Africa only with written approval in advance – otherwise our insurance doesn't cover those areas.
